## trace — the full story

three black electrical engineers from howard university. apple, nvidia, meta pedigrees. walked away from the most coveted jobs in the industry because they believed in something nobody else could see.

the problem: every electronic device in the world — phones, laptops, cars, medical devices, robots, drones — runs on a circuit board. designing those boards has been one of the most technically difficult processes in engineering, and the tools haven't changed in 20 years. engineers spend weeks on boards that should take hours, doing redundant manual work that isn't even the intellectual part.
